OPEN HEAVEN 11 NOVEMBER 2021 MEMORIZE: The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name. Exodus 15:3
OPEN HEAVEN 11 NOVEMBER 2021 BIBLE READING EXODUS 15:1-11
1. Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
2. The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and
| will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and | will exalt him.
3. The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
4. Pharaoh’s chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
5. The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.
6. Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.
7. And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.
8. And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.
9. The enemy said, | will pursue, | will overtake, | will divide the spoil; my Just shall be satisfied upon them; | will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
10. Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.
11. Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
This Thursday, I shall conquer!

Today’s Confession: My life is daily lifted by His grace and glory, nothing can stop me from receiving that which God has set aside and promised for me. Everything work together for my good, as lines begin to fall in pleasant places for me. His truth is my resting place and shield therefore I cannot live in confusion. I am a child of the King of kings. Hallelujah!

OPEN HEAVEN 11 NOVEMBER 2021 MESSAGE
Children of God shake and bow in fear to the enemy only when they fail to recognize that their Heavenly Father is the Mighty Warrior who has never lost and will never lose a war. The Lord of hosts is our Banner. He is the only one that can protect and lead us into victory.
Bowing in fear will displease God, to say the least, because He has commanded that Thou shalt have no other gods before me (Exodus 20:3).
This is the reason Jesus Christ our Lord came to deliver those who, for the fear of death, subject themselves to everlasting bondage according to Hebrews 2:14-15 “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
I have experienced the mighty deeds of God in my life over and over again and o have come to the conclusion that there is no god as mighty as my Daddy in heaven – the Lord of hosts.
For example, I recall a time I was travelling with my driver and we got to the middle of a narrow bridge that could take only one vehicle at a time. We then suddenly discovered that a truck was also coming from the opposite direction on the same bridge. Only the intervention of the Almighty God could have made that bridge expand for my car and the truck to pass through without colliding with each other.
The Almighty God is the Greatest Warrior. The children of Israel experienced the mighty deeds of God and they composed a song as we read in today’s Bible text. I pray that the mighty deeds of God will produce your desired miracle today, in Jesus name.
You, however, have to become a child of God to enjoy His mighty deeds. The Israelites were regular witnesses to the mighty deeds of God because they belonged to Him they were His children. In order to experience the mighty deeds of God, you need to be born again.
This is the first mighty work the Lord does in the lives of His children the salvation of their souls (1 John 1:7-9). I pray that the mighty deeds of God will become a daily occurrence in your life, in the name of Jesus.

Father, please make me experience Your mighty deeds this season and always, in Jesus name.
OPEN HEAVEN 11 NOVEMBER 2021 HYMN
JESUS MY LORD MY GOD MY ALL
1. Jesus, my Lord, my God, my all,
hear me, blest Savior, when I call;
hear me, and from thy dwelling place
pour down the riches of thy grace.
CHORUS
Refrain: Jesus, my Lord, I thee adore;
O make me love thee more and more.
2. Jesus, too late I thee have sought;
how can I love thee as I ought?
And how extol thy matchless fame,
the glorious beauty of thy name?
3. Jesus, what didst thou find in me
that thou hast dealt so lovingly?
How great the joy that thou hast brought,
so far exceeding hope or thought!
4. Jesus, of thee shall be my song;
to thee my heart and soul belong;
all that I have or am is thine,
and thou, blest Savior, thou art mine.

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 11 NOVEMBER 2021 BIBLE READING JONAH 1:1-4
1. Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
2. Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
3. But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
4. But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.
OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 11 NOVEMBER 2021 MESSAGE
God desires progress for all His children. As a Christian teenager, you must not remain static for too long. You must keep moving. Don’t be like Jonah who tried to hinder his progress by running away from his divine assignment.
God sent him to Nineveh to instruct the people to repent from their evil ways but Jonah felt they should be punished for past evils. Jonah set out in the opposite direction and God blocked his progress.
Any direction a fellow takes contrary to Gods plan will not be in his/her interest at the end of the day. No one can make real progress while disobeying God.
For instance, a teenager who engages in examination malpractice to get an excellent result may gain admission into the University but will be living a lie or life of cheating just to have good results.
Progress does not necessarily entail the acquisition of material things or doing well academically and in your career. Progress is actually doing what God wants you to do per time. Any progress that does not originate from God is a curse in disguise.
OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 11 NOVEMBER 2021 KEY POINT
True progress comes when you’re in obedience to Gods will.
OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 11 NOVEMBER 2021 HYMN
WHEN WE WALK WITH THE LORD
1. When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way,
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
CHORUS
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
2. Not a shadow can rise,
Not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away,
Not a doubt or a fear,
Not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.
3. Not a burden we bear,
Not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay,
Not a grief nor a loss,
Not a frown nor a cross,
But is blest if we trust and obey.
4. But we never can prove
The delights of His love,
Until all on the altar we lay,
For the favour He shows,
And the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.
5. Then in fellowship sweet
We will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way,
What He says we will do,
Where He sends, we will go,
Never fear, only trust and obey.
