Let Us Pray
Father, thank You for loving me, thank You for chastening me so I can become a better person being made perfect in You.Father, thank You for correcting me in love and not in Your anger, thank You for Your mercy that endureth forever, I would have been consumed but for Your mercy on me.
Father, please, do not leave me by myself, do not stay silent whenever I go wrong, rebuke me and give me an open heart to accept the rebuke and repent, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, help me not to harden my heart but to make amends immediately I am being rebuked, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please give me a heart that is open to Your correction and willing to change, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please help me to never harden my heart against Your voice, whether in encouragement or correction, in Jesus’ name.
Father, help me to receive every rebuke from You as a demonstration of Your love, in Jesus’ name.
Father, let my spirit be broken and my heart contrite before You, so I can dwell in Your presence continually, in Jesus’ name.
Father, I reject every spirit of pride that would make me resistant to Your correction, in Jesus’ name.
Father, I don’t want to be rejected, no matter how influential I will be or the gifts of the Holy Spirit on me, please, give me a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, help me to build a very good relationship with You, grant me a teachable spirit and make me ready to be corrected, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, whether You are rebuking me through Your word, through fellow believers or directly by Yourself, may I never harden my heart, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, help me to endure Your chastening, and to embrace Your corrections as evidence of Your love for me, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me; cast me not away from Your presence and take not Your Holy Spirit from me, in Jesus’ name.
Please Lord, help me to yield to Your corrections at all times, in Jesus’ name.
