Let Us Pray
Father, I worship You for Your words are powerful, and sharper than a two-edged sword, able to heal and to deliver to the uttermost.
Father, please, deliver me from wrong use of words. Help me not to use grievous words that will stir up anger in my spouse, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, help me to speak wisely at all times, such that my words will be full of grace to everyone that hears them, in Jesus’ name.
Father, any wrong word I had said into the life of my spouse that will affect my marriage negatively, please forgive me. Help me to keep quiet rather than say things that I will later regret, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, frustrate every plan of the devil to fuel quarrels that will make me say things that will negatively affect me and my family, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, don’t let my family, work, and Christian relationship be full of strife; let every wood of wrong and negative words be consumed, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, whenever there seem to be a stirring up of disagreements in my relationship with my others, let my response be soft such that every wrath will be turned away, in Jesus’ name.
Father, I receive Your grace to forgive everyone and anyone that might have said hurtful words to me in the past; heal my relationship with such a person, in Jesus’ name.
Father, if there is any God-given relationship I had lost as a result of wrong use of words, please, let there be restoration again, in Jesus’ name.
Father, no matter the provocation that may come my way, may I never speak harsh and negative words to people, in Jesus’ name.
