Saturday 31st DEC - Make Plans for the Next Victory

Today's Scripture: "Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day..." Joshua 14:12, NKJV Today's Word: In the Bible, Caleb helped lead the people of Israel into their Promised Land. But I love that Caleb didn't just stop there. When he was 80 years old, he said, "God, give me another mountain."

Saturday 31st DEC - See Good Things Happening For You .

The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage (Psalm 16:6). In Jeremiah 29:11 GNB, the Lord said something so beautiful; it reads, “I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.” How comforting and uplifting this is!

Saturday 31st DEC - It Is Finished!

John 19:30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. Imagine looking at Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Mona Lisa painting in the Louvre museum. Would you think of adding more brush strokes to it? Of course not! It was done by a master, so what could you possibly add to the painting to improve it?

Saturday 31st DEC - A Spiritual Mind

For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit. —Romans 8:5 If you are walking in the flesh, it’s because you put your mind on fleshly things. If you’re walking in the Spirit, it’s because you put your mind on spiritual things.

Saturday 31st DEC - ACCEPTABLE SERVICE

Memorise: Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1:27 Read: Romans 12:1-2 (KJV)

Saturday 31st DEC - GOD STILL PERFORMS MIRACLES

Mark 16:20 "And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen." The Lord confirmed the preaching of His Word with miracles. If Jesus and the first century Christians needed the Word confirmed with the miraculous (Heb. 2:4), then we do too. There is no scripture that says these miraculous signs have passed away.

Friday 30th DEC - Finished with Fear

Finished with Fear Today's Scripture: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7, NLT Today's Word: So many people today are living with less than God's best because they've allowed fear to stop them from pursuing their dreams. We have to remember that fear is not from God. It's a lie from the enemy to paralyze us and steal our power. Today's verse tells what God has given us: power, love and self-discipline or self-control. When you are confident in God's promises, there's nothing that can stop you. But when fear creeps in, you hesitate. You're not as strong as you were before. Not only that, but it affects your love. Love prompts us to give, and when we are afraid, we tend to clench our fists and act selfishly. Fear also affects our self-discipline or self-control. It makes us panic and do things without thinking. If you've

Friday 30th DEC - You Have Nothing To Fear .

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness (Romans 8:10). Being born again, you have nothing to fear, because the Holy Spirit lives in you. There’s a divine impact of His divine presence and power on your physical body that keeps it immune to sickness, diseases, and infirmities. Even at the worst case scenario: if your physical body has already been so ravaged, battered and bruised by sickness and disease, the Holy Spirit will revitalise and restore life back to it. That’s what we read in our opening verse. A better rendering is, “But if Christ lives in you, though your body be dead because of sin, the Spirit gives it life because of righteousness.” The Holy Spirit raised the dead body of Jesus back to life; that same Spirit lives in you today. Romans 8:11 says, “And if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead, lives in you, that same Spirit shall give life to your mortal body.” This isn’t som

Friday 30th DEC - Take The Snake By Its Tail

Exodus 4:2–3 So the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.” And He said, “Cast it on the ground.” So he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it. God wants to take the natural things in your life and make them supernaturally blessed. He does this by asking you to give Him what you already have in the natural, and He will do the supernatural. That is why the Lord told Moses to cast his rod on the ground. And when Moses cast his rod on the ground, which represents him giving the rod to the Lord, that same rod became the rod of God. With that rod, the Red Sea was opened. (Exodus 14:16) And when that rod was used to hit a rock, water flowed out of the rock. (Exodus 17:5–6) It was no longer a natural rod, but the supernatural rod of God! But why did the rod become a serpent when Moses cast it to the ground? Moses never realized that there was a “snake” in his rod. You see, because of

Friday 30th DEC - Love Out Loud

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. —Matthew 22:37-39 Loving God, yourself, and other people should be our focus in life. We should be "love-focused" individuals. Receive God's amazing, unconditional love, then you can love yourself and live to give the love away that God has given to you. It is God's number one priority, and it should be ours also.

Friday 30th DEC - THE LORD’S SPOKESMAN

Memorise: Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 2nd Corinthians 5:20 Read: 1st Peter 4:10-11 (KJV) 10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Bible in one year: Numbers 7:1-83, Psalms 139:17-24 open heavens MESSAGE The first instruction that God usually gives to any appointed spokespersons in the Bible is to be bold. Moses, Joshua, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel were all enjoined to be bold and courageous to face the task ahead of them. This is simply because human beings are always rebellious to God’s commandments, this is more so with the rich, powerful and influential p

Friday 30th DEC - USE YOUR DELEGATED AUTHORITY

Mark 16:18 "They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." This either speaks literally of supernatural protection if we pick up a snake, or symbolically of protection in our fight against the devil. Since the other four signs in this list are literal, it is most probable that this means physically taking up snakes.

Thursday 29th DEC - Finish Strong!

Finish Strong! Today's Scripture: "...Run in such a way as to get the prize." 1 Corinthians 9:24, NIV Today's Word: Oftentimes, when we have a dream in our heart, we start off strong. We head down the path toward our goal, and we’re so excited! But along the way, we hit some roadblocks and encounter some adversity. Many times, people will just give up and take the easy way out. But we have to remember, it’s not how we start that counts; it’s how we finish. Anybody can be fired up at the beginning, but I’m encouraging you to stick with it until the end! Have the determination to go all the way through. Don’t stop at the halfway mark just because times are tough. Don’t quit because you don’t see anything happening. The scripture tells us not to walk by sight, but walk by faith. Today, if there’s a dream in your heart, something you’re believing for—a relationship to turn around, a business opportunity or to overcome

Thursday 29th DEC - Using Words Rightly .

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matthew 12:37). The Bible shows us the importance of words as it pertains to salvation. Romans 10:9 says, “...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” This is the Bible way to receive salvation. A man will go either to heaven or to hell on the basis of his confession; what he said or didn’t say. If he spoke the words that God said to speak for salvation, he’d be catapulted into salvation and will eventually go to heaven. But if he didn’t, he’d go to hell, and that’s not because of what he did wrong, but because of what he didn’t say. The acknowledgement and confession of the Lordship of Jesus Christ is the God-ordained way to receive salvation. Legally, the whole world has been saved. Jesus died for everybody. However, for the salvation that He brought to be a vital reality for

Thursday 29th DEC - Born Again To Have Dominion

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” When God made man, He gave man dominion over everything on earth. To have an idea of the kind of dominion that man would have had had he not sinned, let’s look at the perfect Man, Jesus Christ. When Jesus wanted to pay the temple tax, He only needed to command a fish to bring the money to Him. (Matthew 17:24–27) When He wanted to feed a multitude, He only needed to multiply five loaves and two fish in His hands. (Mark 6:34–44) When a storm threatened the lives of His disciples, He only had to speak to the storm and there was perfect calm. (Mark 4:35–41) And every sick person who was brought to Him went away healed. He even brought

Thursday 29th DEC - Celebrate the Positive

For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature. —James 3:2 Our thoughts and words about ourselves are tremendously important. In order to overcome the negative thinking and speaking that have been such a natural part of our lifestyle for so long, we must make a conscious effort to meditate on and speak positive things about ourselves. We need to get our mouth in line with what the Word of God says about us.

Thursday 29th DEC - RESIST THE DEVIL

Memorise: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 Read: James 1:12-16 (KJV) 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Thursday 29th DEC - WATER BAPTISM IS AN ACT OF FAITH

Mark 16:16 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." This scripture has led many to believe that water baptism is a part of salvation and that the born-again experience cannot be a reality without it.

Wednesday 28th DEC - Far and Beyond

Far and Beyond Today's Scripture: "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever." Ephesians 3:20-21, NASB Today's Word: God wants to do exceedingly abundantly above and beyond all you can imagine! He wants to pour out His favor on you and open up opportunities that are beyond your expectations!

Wednesday 28th DEC - Fasting—The Real Essence .

Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly (Joel 2:15). People fast for different reasons. Some fast because they want to get an answer from God, thinking their fasting would compel Him to answer them. They see fasting as a means of getting God to do something He ordinarily wouldn’t have done, had they not fasted. That’s the wrong idea about fasting. I do fast, but I don’t fast to get God to do something for me.

Wednesday 28th DEC - Your Problem Must Bow To Jesus’ Name

Philippians 2:10 … at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, Whatever is troubling you, if it has a name, it must bow to the name of Jesus! Cancer must bow to the name of Jesus. Poverty must bow. Shame must bow. The Bible tells us that God has highly exalted Jesus and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee must bow!

Wednesday 28th DEC - Prove Your Love

So when He had finished washing their feet and had put on His garments and had sat down again, He said to them, do you understand what I have done to you? —John 13:12 I believe that only secure people can be true servants. Jesus was able to put on a servant's towel and wash the feet of His disciples because He knew Who He was, where He came from, and where He was going.

Wednesday 28th DEC - SPIRITUAL WARFARE II

Memorise: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. James 5:15 Read: Ephesians 6:16-18 (KJV) 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Wednesday 28th DEC - HOW TO BAPTIZE

Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" In the same way that this commission is to every believer, not just to ministers, the command to baptize is also for every believer. It is proper for any believer to administer the ordinance of water baptism.

Tuesday 27th DEC - Rise Higher

"Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm." Proverbs 13:20, NIV TODAY'S WORD: Sometimes in order to embrace the destiny God has in store, you have to be willing to make some difficult changes in your life. You have to be willing to examine where you are and what you need to do in order to move forward. This may mean that you need to change some friends you’re spending time with. Maybe they were fine for a season in your life, but you’ve outgrown them.

Tuesday 27th DEC - Focus On Him

After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). God desires to have your attention. He knows if He has your attention, He can lead and guide you in the destiny He’s planned for you. He knows what’s best for you, and what your life should be. There’s therefore nothing for you to worry over, except to live confidently and joyfully in His Word every day. Living in the Word will cause you to walk in the inheritance and destiny He’s ordained for you.

Tuesday 27th DEC- God Sees Glorious Things In You!

1 Samuel 16:7 …For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” Picture David when he was a shepherd boy. Many who knew him in his pre-Goliath days would very likely have seen just an ordinary youth—one who lived at home with his parents and siblings, enjoyed the outdoors and loved music. But where others saw a typical teenager, God saw a king in young David. He saw David’s name being uttered in honor forever for even the Lord Jesus is called the Son of David!

Tuesday 27th DEC - Powerful Prayer

The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. —James 5:16 For prayer to be effective it must be fervent. However, if we misunderstand the word fervent, we may feel that we have to "work up" some strong emotion before we pray; otherwise, our prayers will not be effective. At times I experience a great deal of emotion while at prayer, sometimes I even cry.

Tuesday 27th DEC- SPIRITUAL WARFARE I

Memorise: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; 2nd Corinthians 10:4 Read: Ephesians 6:10-15 (KJV) 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Tuesday 27th DEC - GOD IS GOOD

John 21:25 "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen." Every detail of every man's life, who has ever walked on the earth, has not impacted the world as much as the few recorded details of Jesus' life. Jesus was not just a man, He was God manifest in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:16).

Monday 26th DEC - Emmanuel, God with Us

"Behold, the virgin shall become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel—which, when translated, means, God with us." Matthew 1:23, AMPC TODAY'S WORD: In the Bible, Jesus has many names that identify His character and tells us about who He is. One of those names is Emmanuel, which means “God with us.” Before Jesus came, the Spirit of God resided in the temple of God, and the people had to go through many rituals to be considered clean enough to go near Him. Now, because of Jesus, our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Monday 26th DEC - CHRISTMAS IS CHRIST ALIVE IN YOU.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). The exciting thing about Christmas is the purpose for which Jesus was born; the reason He came. He came that you might have life—the God-life—to the full. Jesus didn’t come to establish a new religion; neither did He come to show us an example of how to live the good life.

Monday 26th DEC-- Don’t Sweat It, Rest!

Ruth 3:18 Then she said, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.” God does not want you to “sweat”. Sweat here does not refer to your body’s perspiration, but your self-reliance or self-effort. God does not want you to believe that if you don’t do anything, nothing will happen. That may be true for someone without God in his life, but it is not true for you because you have God. And when He is in the picture, the God-factor changes everything!

Monday 26th DEC - Jesus’ Prayer for You

And now I am coming to You; I say these things while I am still in the world, so that My joy may be made full and complete and perfect in them [that they may experience My delight fulfilled in them, that My enjoyment may be perfected in their own souls, that they may have My gladness within them, filling their hearts]. —John 17:13 When Jesus prayed to the Father in John 17:13, He actually prayed that we would have joy. He said, “I say these things . . . so that My joy may be made full and complete and perfect in them...” With Jesus Himself speaking and praying such powerful words about His desire for us to have joy, how could we ever doubt that God wants us to be happy and enjoy our lives?

Monday 26th DEC - BE SINGLE-MINDED

John 21:21 "Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?" Jesus had just told Peter to follow Him. However, Peter wanted to know what the Lord had planned for John. Instead of Jesus answering Peter's question, the Lord told him that what He had in store for John was none of his business.

Monday 26th DEC - NO TREACHERY

Memorise: Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Matthew 19:6 Read: Malachi 2:11-16 KJV) 11 Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the Lord which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

Sunday 25th DEC - WATER BAPTISM IS A SIGN

Mark 16:16 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." MARK 16:16 Water baptism is a command of Jesus and is the initial action taken upon believing. Mark's statement could be rendered, "He who believes with saving faith (i.e. faith that produces actions) will be saved." In this sense, water baptism is very important. It is an opportunity to act on your new profession of faith. Anyone who refuses to follow Jesus' command to receive water baptism, may be suspected of not really believing.

Sunday 25th DEC - BE DILIGENT

BE DILIGENT – Sunday December 25 th 2016 Memorise: The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want. Proverbs 21:5 Read: Proverbs 6:6-11 (KJV) 6  Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: 7  Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,

Tuesday 26th July - Christ is Your Strength

How can you speak good things when you are evil (wicked)? For out of the fullness (the overflow, the superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks. —Matthew 12:34 The Bible says that out of the heart the mouth speaks. We can learn a lot about ourselves by listening to ourselves. Do your thoughts and words reflect your complete dependence on God, realizing that His abilities (not your own) empower you to do anything you need to do in life?
