How do you preach healings and miracles as the works of God, and then get sick; or preach about financial prosperity, and are in deep financial difficulties? It shows that there’s a missing link. Some may think the solution to this is intense prayer and fasting so they can “clean” up their lives and get rid of whatever may be hindering their “blessing.” “Perhaps, if I try to be a better Christian, things might change for good,” they’d say. When you pray, you must have focus. David, in one of his prayers, said to the Lord, “Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name” (Psalm 86:11). Notice the underlined expression! JESUS: THE REVELATION OF GOD’S LOVE   And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us… (John 1:14).        Just as Adam and Eve heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the Garden, in the cool of the day (Genesis 3:8), the Old Testament prophets weren’t left out. Some heard a voice in their spirits, while others heard a voice from above; they, however, didn’t see a form or a shape to that voice.
