OPEN HEAVEN 18 AUGUST 2021 WEDNESDAY

OPEN HEAVEN 18 AUGUST 2021 MEMORIZE: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

OPEN HEAVEN 18 AUGUST 2021 BIBLE READING JOHN 11-3

1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2. The same was in the beginning with God.

3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Good Morning Beloved, have a blessed Wednesday,

DAILY PERSONAL CONFESSION: My labour will never be truncated by any power of darkness. I am going higher and soaring in the direction of greatness. My life is a testimony and I will never gather to mourn or bury anyone in my life on Jesus’ name, Amen.

OPEN HEAVEN 18 AUGUST 2021 MESSAGE

There is creative power in the word of God. It takes Someone who is all-powerful to execute the gigantic project of creating the universe.

This is what the word of God did and is still doing, according to our Bible reading of today. When the Lord speaks, His word brings whatever He desires into being.

The creative word of God bears His power. This is the reason we must never take the word of God for granted.

As a matter of fact, we must tremble at His word because it can make or break us.

It is foolishness to disobey God because He would not spare us if we do. Calamity has befallen many as a result of their disobedience to the word of God.

Jesus says in John 12:48: “He that rejected me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.”

However, it is interesting to note that the power in the word of God is capable of saving us from sin.

His word is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).

Without the word, man is in darkness but the word of God is the light of life.

The Psalmist wrote: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” “Psalm 119:105

The power in the word makes the foolish become wise according to Psalm 19:7: “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.”

One more interesting thing about the word of God which people are unfortunately ignoring and rejecting is that it delivers from calamities and demonic oppressions.

In Luke 7:7, the centurion said to Jesus Christ: “Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.

The Bible further says in Luke 7:10: “And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.

This incident corroborates Psalm 107:20: “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”

Beloved, we must believe the word of God, act on it and make it our standard. Quoting the Scripture without living by it is an exercise in futility.

Remember, only the doers of the word shall be blessed by it (James 1:25 ).

OPEN HEAVEN 18 AUGUST 2021 HYMN

JESUS MY LORD MY GOD MY ALL

1. Jesus, my Lord, my God, my all,
hear me, blest Savior, when I call;
hear me, and from thy dwelling place
pour down the riches of thy grace.

CHORUS
Refrain: Jesus, my Lord, I thee adore;
O make me love thee more and more.

2. Jesus, too late I thee have sought;
how can I love thee as I ought?
And how extol thy matchless fame,
the glorious beauty of thy name?

3. Jesus, what didst thou find in me
that thou hast dealt so lovingly?
How great the joy that thou hast brought,
so far exceeding hope or thought!

4. Jesus, of thee shall be my song;
to thee my heart and soul belong;
all that I have or am is thine,
and thou, blest Savior, thou art mine.

OPEN HEAVEN 17 JANUARY 2025 MESSAGE For every action or inaction, there are consequences. This is why you should consider it a great privilege when you have people around you who can correct you whenever you do something wrong so that you do not have to suffer terrible consequences. Unfortunately, some people do not listen to corrections. The Bible refers to such people as servants. A servant will not be corrected by words: for though he ...
