OPEN HEAVEN 27 FEBRUARY 2026 FRIDAY

OPEN HEAVEN 27 FEBRUARY 2026 FRIDAY: HE PROVIDES AHEAD OF YOUR NEEDS

OPEN HEAVEN 27 FEBRUARY 2026 MEMORISE: Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. Psalm 147:5

OPEN HEAVEN 27 FEBRUARY 2026 BIBLE READING: 1 CHRONICLES 29:11-12 (KJV)

11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

OPEN HEAVEN 27 FEBRUARY 2026 MESSAGE:

God is all-powerful; His power is not seen only in His mighty works but also in how He sometimes mercifully provides the help we need before we even realise we need help.

Years ago, when Redemption City was still more than 95 percent covered with trees and bushes, I went for a walk one night as I usually do.

Then, I loved to walk on the footpaths of the bushes to pray so that nobody would disturb me.

That night, I was going about praying and enjoying myself because I was alone with God when He suddenly told me to stop.

I stopped, and when I looked at the ground, I realised that something unusual was right across my path.

The object looked like a log of wood, and I thought that some people had come into the bush, cut some trees down, and didn’t carry all the logs with them.

However, it suddenly looked as if the log of wood was moving.

When I looked more closely, I realised it was a huge python. Immediately the python saw that I had seen it, it raised its head to attack me.

Of course, now that I had already seen it, I moved back a bit, and as I turned to look towards my right, I saw a big rock.

The rock had already been positioned there by God, and I used it to kill the python.

God mercifully provided that big rock in that position even before I went through that path that night.

I pray that the Almighty God will supply all the help you need before you even realise you need it, in Jesus’ name.

Before Samson was attacked by over 1,000 Philistines in Judges 15:14-15, God prepared the jawbone of an ass and placed it in a place where his hand could easily reach it.

In Numbers 20:1-11, before the Israelites got to the desert, He had provided the rock from which they would get water.

Beloved, God has already provided the solution to every problem you can ever encounter.

He is too merciful to let you get to a stage where there will be no solution to the challenges you face.

If you are currently burdened by a problem, you don’t have to worry; turn to Him and ask Him to open your eyes to see the solution He has already provided.

I pray that you will emerge victorious over all obstacles, in Jesus’ name.

Father, please open my eyes to see the solutions You have provided to every challenge that comes my way, in Jesus’ name.

OPEN HEAVEN 27 FEBRUARY 2026 HYMN 27:

WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS

1 What a friend we have in Jesus,

all our sins and griefs to bear!

What a privilege to carry

everything to God in prayer!

O what peace we often forfeit,

O what needless pain we bear,

all because we do not carry

everything to God in prayer!

2 Have we trials and temptations?

Is there trouble anywhere?

We should never be discouraged;

take it to the Lord in prayer!

Can we find a friend so faithful

who will all our sorrows share?

Jesus knows our every weakness;

take it to the Lord in prayer!

3 Are we weak and heavy laden,

cumbered with a load of care?

Precious Savior, still our refuge–

take it to the Lord in prayer!

Do your friends despise, forsake you?

Take it to the Lord in prayer!

In his arms he’ll take and shield you;

you will find a solace there.

SUNDAY, 15TH SEPTEMBER. LET THE WORD CONTROL YOUR VALUES

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SUNDAY, 15TH SEPTEMBER. LET THE WORD CONTROL YOUR VALUES For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:6). When the Bible talks about the carnal mind, it doesn’t mean a sinful mind per se, even though the carnal mind is prone to sin. A carnal mind means a mind that’s ordinary; of mere human understanding; just normal human life The person who’s carnally-minded, even though he’s born again, reasons and acts like the natural man. He lives according to the senses. He’s more attuned to, and concerned about the things of the flesh. The Word and the spiritual realities of the Kingdom hardly get his attention. Now, the Bible tells us that to live that way is enmity against God (Romans 8:7); meaning that the carnal Christian walks at cross-purposes with God. He’s not ruled by or subject to the Word of God; a state that leads to death—separation from everything gracious and divine!...

WEDNESDAY 26TH JUNE 2019 THEME: THE DANGER OF FRUITLESSNESS.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: WEDNESDAY 26TH JUNE 2019 THEME: THE DANGER OF FRUITLESSNESS. MEMORISE: Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. John 15:2 READ: Luke 13:6-9 6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. 7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. MESSAGE “Be fruitful” is the very first statement God made to mankind. This statement was pronounced both as a blessing and command. It is therefore obvious that fruitfulness is the heartbeat...
