OPEN HEAVEN 21 SEPTEMBER 2020 MONDAY: BUILD UP YOUR FAITH

OPEN HEAVEN 21 SEPTEMBER 2020 MEMORIZE: But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Jude 1:20
OPEN HEAVEN 21 SEPTEMBER 2020 BIBLE READING JOHN 20:25-29
25. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.
29. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

OPEN HEAVEN 21 SEPTEMBER 2020 MESSAGE
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1 As a believer, you must already have some level of faith.
However, irrespective of the current level of your faith, you still have a duty to grow and strengthen it.
Just like your physical body needs food and exercise to stay strong and healthy, your faith also needs food and exercise.
The word of God is the food that our faith needs to become strong so as to do exploits for Him.
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17
You must study your Bible diligently every day.
The more of the study of God’s word you do, the more of His abilities you will see and every fear that has previously weakened your faith will vanish.
Alongside the word, another delicacy you must add to your diet in order to have strong faith is prayers in the Holy Ghost as seen from today’s memory verse.
The indwelling of the Holy Ghost empowers a person for exploits. Acts 10:38 says:
”How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”
The Holy Ghost is responsible for miracles, signs and wonders.
Hence, if you want your faith to birth signs and wonders, you must pray in the Spirit often.
Paul said he prayed in the Holy Ghost more than all the other Apostles (1 Corinthians 14:18); no wonder God was able to use him to achieve so much.
Your faith also needs exercise to grow and stay alive. Faith without works is dead (James 2:20).
You have to put your faith into action, then leave the rest to God.
If the miracle doesn’t happen the first time, keep exercising your faith and very soon, it will be strong enough for exploits.
OPEN HEAVEN 21 SEPTEMBER 2020 KEY POINT

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: TUESDAY 3RD MARCH 2020. THEME:  NIGHT TIME. MEMORISE: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. Matthew 13:25 READ: Acts 23:23-35 23 And he called unto him two centurions, saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour of the night; 24 And provide them beasts, that they may set Paul on, and bring him safe unto Felix the governor. 25 And he wrote a letter after this manner: 26 Claudius Lysias unto the most excellent governor Felix sendeth greeting. 27 This man was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with an army, and rescued him, having understood that he was a Roman. 28 And when I would have known the cause wherefore they accused him, I brought him forth into their council: 29 Whom I perceived to be accused of questions of their law, but to have nothing laid to his charge worthy of death

2 JANUARY 2019 – A CHILD OF ISSACHAR? OPEN HEAVEN 2 JANUARY 2019

OPEN HEAVEN 2 JANUARY 2019 – A CHILD OF ISSACHAR? OPEN HEAVEN 2 JANUARY 2019 MEMORISE: And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 1 John 5:20 OPEN HEAVEN 2 JANUARY 2019 READ: 1 Chronicles 12:32 And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment. As we start another year, it is pertinent for us to have an understanding of the times we live in, in order for us to succeed. The good thing about understanding is that it belongs to God (Psalm 147:5). Today’s memory verse reveals that one of the reasons why the Lord Jesus Christ came to this world is to give us understanding.
