Let Us Pray
Father, thank You for sending Your son Jesus Christ, to the world for the salvation of mankind. Thank You Jesus for staying focused on Your course of laying down Your life for my redemption.
Father, I worship You, for despite the temptations, trials and persecutions You suffered for my sake, You remained focused on Your course to the Cross of Calvary; and You finished Your assignment and now set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Father, You have handed me the ministry of reconciliation, please, help me to stay focused on this course and help me not to be distracted, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, help me not to be weighed down by criticism, lies and all negative things that may be said about me, help me to ignore them all and to remain focused to the end, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, I do not want to be carried away with the praises of people, help me never to consider them but to focus on pleasing You and You alone, in Jesus’ name.
Father, help me to remain focused on You and the purpose You have called me to fulfill, no matter the distractions around me, in Jesus’ name.
Lord Almighty, remove every weight of sin, pride, or distraction that is trying to hinder my journey to greatness, in Jesus’ name.
Father, grant me the grace to ignore the criticisms and praises of men, and stay focused on what You have called me to do, in Jesus’ name.
Lord Almighty, when the enemy sends distractions to derail me, give me the strength and discipline to remain steadfast in my calling, in Jesus’ name.
Father, give me the spirit of perseverance so that no matter what comes my way, I will stay on the path You have set before me, in Jesus’ name.
Father, as I lay aside every weight, give me the strength to carry my cross daily and follow You faithfully, in Jesus’ name.
Father, I refuse to be distracted by praises or criticisms, but I will keep my eyes fixed on my finish line, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, help me to set my affection on things above, where Jesus is seated, and not on things on the earth, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, grant me the grace to patiently run the race before me, help me not to allow the provocation of men to hinder me from reaching Heaven at last, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, help me to set my gaze on Jesus, and not on the mundane things of this world. Help me to endure the cross, despising the shame so I can attain the joy that is set before me, in Jesus’ name.
Father, I decree, by Your mercy, that no power of hell, no scheme of men will be able to plug me from Your hands. Until You come in glory, I will remain standing in the power of Christ, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, help me to set aside every weight that the devil is using to distract me and focus on achieving Your purpose for my life, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, help Your son, Pastor E.A Adeboye to always overcome the temptation to enjoy the praises of men, help him to remain humble still, always returning the glory to You for all You are doing through him, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please continue to give Your son, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, and his household the grace to stand for You and continue to share edifying messages with Your children around the world, in the mighty name of Jesus.
