OPEN HEAVEN 17 MAY 2021 MEMORIZE: To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Revelation 3:21

OPEN HEAVEN 17 MAY 2021 BIBLE READING JOHN 14:1-3

1. Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

The ultimate goal of all genuine Christians is to make Heaven; this is why Jesus died for mankind. Jesus said of Himself in Luke 19:10:

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Only overcomers can make it to Heaven. How then can you overcome?.

First, you must overcome all the evil thoughts in your heart. Our Lord Jesus said in Revelation 3:20:

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Proverbs 23:26 also says My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

Beloved, when we allow Jesus Christ to come into our hearts, He will give us victory over all the thoughts that defile us and make us candidates of hell.

You must allow Jesus into your heart because naturally, the heart of man is desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9).

What exactly is in the heart that makes it wicked? Mark 7:21-23 provides the answer to this question:

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

It is only those who overcome the above listed sins who would get the power to enter into Heavenly bliss.

You cannot do it by yourself; this is why you need Jesus, who can give you the power to live above sin.

The power that overcomes sin is the power we need to make Heaven and Jesus is ready to give you if you are willing to forsake Satan, sin and every form of wickedness.

You must make conscious efforts to flee all appearances of evil like Joseph did in Potiphar’s house.

Beginning from now, your struggles with sin are over in Jesus’ name.

The power of “Go and sin no more” as was given by Jesus to the woman caught in the act of adultery shall be yours today and you shall make Heaven at last, in the mighty name of Jesus.

OPEN HEAVEN 17 MAY 2021 PRAYER POINT

Father, please give me the power to overcome sin today. Make me a candidate of heavenly bliss, in the mighty name of Jesus.

OPEN HEAVEN 17 MAY 2021 HYMN

HYMN 4 – CONQUERORS AND OVERCOMERS NOW ARE WE

1. Conquerors and overcomers now are we,
Thro’ the precious blood of Christ we’ve victory
If the Lord be for us, we can never fail,
Nothing ‘gainst His mighty pow’r can e’er prevail.

REFRAIN:
Conquerors are we, thro’ the blood, thro’ the blood,
God will give us victory, thro’ the blood, thro’ the blood
Thro’ the Lamb for sinners slain,
Yet who lives and reigns again,
More than conquerors are we,
More than conquerors are we.

2. In the name of Israel’s God we’ll onward press,
Overcoming sin and all unrighteousness;
Not to us, but unto Him the praise shall be,
For salvation and for blood-bought victory.

3. Unto him that overcometh shall be giv’n,
Here to eat of hidden manna sent from heav’n,
Over yonder he the victor’s palm shall bear,
And a robe of white, and golden crown shall wear.

SUNDAY, 15TH SEPTEMBER. LET THE WORD CONTROL YOUR VALUES

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SUNDAY, 15TH SEPTEMBER. LET THE WORD CONTROL YOUR VALUES For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:6). When the Bible talks about the carnal mind, it doesn’t mean a sinful mind per se, even though the carnal mind is prone to sin. A carnal mind means a mind that’s ordinary; of mere human understanding; just normal human life The person who’s carnally-minded, even though he’s born again, reasons and acts like the natural man. He lives according to the senses. He’s more attuned to, and concerned about the things of the flesh. The Word and the spiritual realities of the Kingdom hardly get his attention. Now, the Bible tells us that to live that way is enmity against God (Romans 8:7); meaning that the carnal Christian walks at cross-purposes with God. He’s not ruled by or subject to the Word of God; a state that leads to death—separation from everything gracious and divine!...

WEDNESDAY 26TH JUNE 2019 THEME: THE DANGER OF FRUITLESSNESS.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: WEDNESDAY 26TH JUNE 2019 THEME: THE DANGER OF FRUITLESSNESS. MEMORISE: Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. John 15:2 READ: Luke 13:6-9 6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. 7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. MESSAGE “Be fruitful” is the very first statement God made to mankind. This statement was pronounced both as a blessing and command. It is therefore obvious that fruitfulness is the heartbeat...
